Are you interested in becoming a member of Outaouais Tourism? Here’s how.
There are two types of membership:
TOURISM BUSINESS
A business that offers a tourism service to a clientele and helps attract visitors to the Outaouais region (accommodation, restaurants and gourmet tourism, events, cultural experiences, outdoor experiences, spas and wellness, equipment rental, recreational activities, etc.).
This category also includes tourist services (tourist information centres, municipalities, meeting rooms, land and transport).
INDUSTRY SERVICES
Businesses and organizations that provide support services to the tourism industry, such as professional associations and organizations, service agencies, and suppliers.
To be eligible for membership, a business must:
Outaouais Tourism has the right to review the eligibility of tourism businesses and decides on the appropriate membership category when a business becomes a member. New memberships must also be ratified by the Board of Directors.
Membership becomes effective once the member profile is duly completed and Outaouais Tourism has received payment. An electronic confirmation will be sent. A renewal email is then sent each year to Outaouais Tourism members.

* In this case, the business must also be a member of the Association touristique régionale/ATR (regional tourism association) in its area.
** Businesses that wish to become members of Outaouais Tourism and do not yet hold Quality-Safety certification may still join. However, they must commit to obtaining this certification within 12 months of joining, otherwise their membership status will be revoked.
